Seating for Linden Homes, Horfield, Bristol
The housing development by Linden Homes in Horfield, Bristol consists of both private and social housing. The artwork adds character to the whole scheme and enhances the areas where people might meet socially, like the seating areas.
I selected materials that are used elsewhere in the scheme, such as Woodscape products. The colours are complementary to the brick and stone used within the buildings.
The mosaics refer to the landscaping of the scheme, and I wanted to create an integrated feel to the artwork.
